My name is Paul Schneidewind, and I am running for North Branch City Council.
​I have resided in North Branch since 2008. My family moved here from Saint Paul for the beauty and small town vibe. My goal is to maintain both, while curbing excessive spending by the city and making sure that we remain safe. My family and I relocated to the beautiful town of North Branch in 2008. Since then, I have served as a member of three boards of directors.
From 2016 to 2023, I held the position of Vice President for North Branch Traveling Baseball. I have been on the North Branch Traveling Football board in various roles since 2020, and I have served as the Treasurer for the North Branch Area Athletic Association for the past three years.
In addition to these roles, I have coached my son's traveling baseball team and several traveling football teams. I also encouraged my son to join me in coaching a younger team during his high school years.
Maintaining a strong relationship between the city and its youth groups is very important to me, and I am committed to continuing this focus while serving as a council member.
